Emergency button protective cover

Sometimes our users accidentally activate the emergency button. This is not a problem, though we naturally try to keep the number of false alerts to a minimum. With a solution as accessible and user-friendly as this one, it is sometimes unavoidable.

Something we occasionally hear from users is that an emergency button attached to a keyring is more likely to trigger an accidental alert. Despite requiring two presses within two seconds, getting into a car for example can sometimes result in an emergency alert being triggered. This is of course inconvenient for both the user and the Alarm Receiving Centre.

To prevent this, we have developed a protective cover that slides over the emergency button and prevents unwanted activation. At the same time, the LED light remains visible and the button can still be pressed without difficulty. See the video below for how it works:
