Montr released updates to the reporting app on an almost weekly basis throughout Q2 and Q3 of 2025. These often include small optimisations, maintenance, and bug fixes, but new features are also released regularly.
This article covers the most significant additions released between March and July.
Letter and report templates
A new questionnaire format has been added. It is now possible to create letters and reports directly in the app. We will explain how this works in detail in a separate article. When creating a new questionnaire, the administrator now has the option to create letters or reports - fixed body text is entered, with dynamic answer fields indicating what can be filled in. It looks like this:
BRP integration
The second update is an integration with the municipal Haalcentraal BRP API. If your municipality has access to this, queries can be made directly against the BRP (Dutch Personal Records Database) from within the Montr app. This information can also be used to pre-populate and start an inspection directly, with no manual data entry required.
Admin environment redesign
The third major update is a complete visual overhaul of the app's admin environment, ahead of the reporting app update in early September. The redesign refreshes the look and feel of the application, making it more pleasant to use and simplifying ongoing maintenance.
In addition, a number of smaller updates and optimisations were made - for example, making the search function case-insensitive and making URLs in question info boxes clickable.
