Forgot password? It can happen to everyone. With the password reset feature. you can quickly regain access to the app if you are unable to log in.
How to reset your password?
Go to the Report X login page.
Click on: “Forgot password?” below the login fields. A new page will open.
Enter the email address connected to your Report X account and confirm the reset request by clicking "Send reset link".
Check your mailbox (email address that you entered) - you will receive an email containing a secure password reset link.
⚠️Please note: for security reasons, the reset link is active for 1 hour only.Click the link in the email to continue. A new page will open.
Enter your new password with following security requirements:
Use at least 8 characters
Include at least one lowercase and uppercase letter
Include at least one number or special character
Repeat password and confirm by clicking "Submit" button, after confirming the password for your account is immediately updated.
Log in to Report X again using your new password.
Why is password security important?
Your Report X account may contain sensitive investigation information, reports, personal data, and internal organizational documentation. That is why it is important to use a strong password and update it regularly.
A strong password helps protect your account against unauthorized access and reduces the risk of data misuse. Periodically changing your password is also a good security practice, especially when working with confidential information or shared devices.

Using a unique password for Report X
Avoiding easy combinations such as names or birthdates
Using a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols
Not sharing passwords with colleagues
Updating passwords periodically
