Batteries for the emergency button

Information on the brand and correct storage of replacement batteries

Although the batteries (type CR2032) in the emergency button typically last at least three months under normal use - and often up to six months - we occasionally receive reports of batteries needing to be replaced sooner.

We would therefore like to draw your attention to how replacement batteries should be stored. If stored incorrectly, replacement batteries can become largely depleted before you even use them.

If you remove the replacement batteries from their packaging and store them together in a container, they will immediately discharge upon contact with each other. Please do not do this - see the photo below of this incorrect storage method.

Always store batteries in their original packaging - this ensures they can never come into contact with each other.

It is also important that you use the correct brand. Over the past few years we have noticed that several battery suppliers are no longer delivering the performance we previously expected from them. We have therefore switched to a different professional battery supplier: Procell.

If you would like to receive these batteries, please let us know via the chat or by emailing the helpdesk.
