February brought several new features alongside the usual smaller optimisations and bug fixes.
Partial report export
It is now possible to generate a separate PDF report for a specific section of a questionnaire - for example, when you want to send part of an inspection to a third party.
This option is always available when viewing a report. Select the option:
Then choose which section of the report should be exported as a separate document:
Linked questions
The second addition is the ability to link question-answer combinations. This prevents the same question or answer from having to be filled in multiple times - when an answer is entered for one linked question, it appears automatically in all other linked questions. Both open and multiple-choice question types are supported, as long as the linked questions are of the same type.
This can be configured in the admin environment. Open the question and select "add connected step":
Then select the question to link it to:
If a question is already linked, you will see the option "edit connected step" instead:
