We occasionally receive questions about entering phone numbers. Can only mobile numbers be entered, or landlines too?
The app uses a strict format for phone numbers, which can cause an error if not followed correctly. The required format is:
Every number - mobile or landline - must start with +31 followed by a space.
The leading 0 from the Dutch number is then dropped.
Example - landline: 070-22 11 993 becomes +31 70221993
Example - mobile: 06-12345678 becomes +31 612345678
This strict format is necessary to support additional features such as sending an SMS with an activation code for downloading a report, or sending an appointment reminder by SMS the day before a visit.
