You can filter the inspection overview in two ways: by status (the left option) or by time period (last week, last month, etc.). Both options are shown at the top of the overview:
Tapping either option lets you select a status or a time period (the right option). For the time period filter, the app remembers your last selection - handy if you typically only want to see inspections from the past week.
