During your instruction or kick-off session, you will receive the phone number that the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) uses to call you back after an alarm is activated. Make sure to save this number in your contacts - that way, you will immediately recognise the call and know it is the ARC reaching out to you.
β
If there is an unintended false alert, you will also be able to see that the ARC is calling.
If in such a case (false alert, or if you call back) you speak to the operator, they will often ask for a code word to make sure you are not being pressured into saying that everything is fine.
Because experience shows that users often forget this code word, we have also included it in the app.
You can save the phone number of the Alarm Receiving Centre directly to your phone using the 'add contact' button.
