Expanded alarm features, new emergency button - updates July - October '25

Team alarm update - alarm timer - wrist emergency button

Several updates have been rolled out over the past few months, starting with a number of alarm expansions.

Alarm timer

It is now possible to activate a timer that automatically triggers an alarm when the set time period expires. The timer is shown in the app and is simple to activate by selecting a time period. If the timer is not deactivated within that period, an alarm is sent automatically.

This feature can be activated per organisation on request.

Team alarm - first responder

We have also expanded the team alarm functionality. It is now possible to designate which colleague will be the first to follow up on an alarm. This information is also shared with the alarm centre so they can make direct contact with the first responder.

When an emergency alert is sent, all colleagues in the team receive a phone call and an SMS notifying them that a colleague has triggered an alert and needs assistance. The SMS contains a link - the first person to tap it is marked as the responding colleague.

This is then communicated to the rest of the team by phone and SMS, so it is immediately clear who is handling the follow-up.

New wrist emergency button

We have recently introduced a new version of the emergency button that can be worn on the wrist. The functionality is otherwise identical to the existing button. The only difference is that this new button vibrates on the wrist upon a successful alarm rather than emitting an audible signal.

The button can be worn with or without a wrist strap and needs to be charged every four to six weeks using the included magnetic charging cable.
