Scheduling of the investigations

Learn how to plan your workday automatically

Updated this week

The Scheduling feature helps users plan a workday quickly and efficiently when reporters have to make multiple visits per day. Optimal scheduling of these visits saves a lot of time, especially when large numbers are involved.

Users can now plan their working days in advance based on the list of visits. The system automatically creates the best route for visiting multiple locations, so you save time, reduce travel, and work with more structure.

🧭 Read the instructions

1. Start at the Investigations list:

2. Verify if your investigations are ready for scheduling:

  • Status "To do"

  • They are not scheduled

3. Go to "Scheduling" from the advanced menu. You will see a two-week calendar:

  • Green-color day means already scheduled

  • Red-color day means not scheduled yet

You can only plan for today and the next 14 days. Days in the past are not visible.

4. Click "Plan my day" on a red-color day. It opens a window where you provide your availability for that day:

  • Start location - street name and number, city and postal code where you want to start

  • End location - street name and number, city and postal code where you want to finish

  • Start and end time - your working hours

  • Break - if you have a break (e.g., lunch) provide duration and time, if no break put 0 minutes

Some fields may already be filled in with your company’s default settings.

5. Click "Schedule" button - the system automatically creates the best route based on your availability and unscheduled investigations.

6. Click on card of a scheduled, green-color day. New page will open where you can see:

  • Map view - shows your full route and all investigation points

  • List view - times, addresses and investigation names

You can also click "Navigate" button to open your phone’s navigation app (e.g., Google Maps or Apple Maps).

7. On your working day you can start an investigation by:

  • Clicking a point on the map and given details

  • Selecting it as usual from the list of investigations

Fill in the investigation as you normally do.

8. You can make manual adjustments to the route by clicking "Add investigations" - for example, if something comes up in between.

9. In case of an error or change of your availability you can use "Undo scheduling" button - the investigations will then be released again, and you can reset the day.
