Now you can request a new generation of Emergency Buttons - a watch-style emergency button that can be worn on the wrist or neck, without a need to replace the battery.
The device offers the same reliable emergency functionality you already know, with added flexibility and ease of use.
Reach out via helpdesk@montr.nl in case you would like to test it yourself.
Who is this new device for?
The watch-style device is ideal for users who prefer wearing the device instead of carrying it, want a discreet solution during conversations and feel more comfortable with a wearable device.
It can be worn:
With a wristband case (like a watch)
With a hanging case and lanyard (like a necklace or attached to bag)

This flexibility allows users to choose what feels most natural and least disruptive during their daily work.
How does it work in daily practice?
The device functions exactly the same way as the existing emergency button:
This button is also connected to the Emergency Button app via Bluetooth.
When the button is connected, the familiar blue light flashes.
The user presses the button in case of an emergency.
The app sends the emergency notification to the Alarm Response Center.
The user receives confirmation that the alarm has been successfully sent.
The key difference with watch-style device is that when an alarm is successfully activated, the watch version gives a vibration (buzz) confirmation, instead of an audible signal. This makes it more discreet in risky situations.
New device provides no need for the battery replacement with simple recharging process - just attach the magnetic cable and allow the device to charge. The device should be charged approximately every four to six weeks.
In daily use, the watch-style device often feels more natural to use - reducing the chance that it is forgotten, left in a bag, or placed on a desk during visits.
Dimensions: the button weighs only 11 grams, has a diameter of 3.8 cm, and is 1 cm thick. It weighs about half as much as the other (white) Montr emergency button (which weighs 20 grams).
With this new device option, your organisation can better match the emergency button to the preferences and working style of your team.
