July brought a few specific updates.
Emergency button integration
The most significant addition is the emergency button integration, which allows an alert to be sent directly from the app to an alarm centre for handling.
The full details of how this works are explained in the dedicated Help Center article.
A short video is also available below (the emergency button is in the top right of the screen):
The emergency button can be used on any device - smartphone, tablet, or computer - and plays a sound once the alarm centre has been successfully alerted.
Activating this feature involves additional costs due to the alarm centre integration and related setup. If your organisation is interested, please get in touch: helpdesk@montr.nl.
Date question type update
A frequently requested change has been made to the date question type. Administrators can now choose between two variants when building a questionnaire: a date question that includes both date and time, and a "date only" variant that shows just the date. The options look like this in the questionnaire admin:
Address naming
Several changes have been made to how addresses are named in the overview, making it easier to configure which address component - for example street name and house number, or surname - is displayed.
Sync and automated testing
Following a sync issue, the synchronisation mechanism in the app has been improved so that working on the same report from multiple devices simultaneously can no longer cause disruptions.
As part of this work, the automated test suite used in the development process has also been significantly expanded - now covering many tens of automated tests that run as part of every update for validation and quality control.
