If you are no longer able to connect the emergency button, this is usually caused by one of two things. You are unable to get past the screen below when trying to connect the button:
The cause is usually one of the following:
The emergency button battery is empty. You can easily check this by pressing the button once. You should see a red light. If you do not see a red light, the battery is empty and needs to be replaced:
The other possibility is that you have not granted the Emergency Button app permission to always use your location - including when the app is not in use. Without this permission, the app is also unable to connect to the emergency button. Granting location permission is very straightforward:
It is important to note that the Emergency Button app only uses your location when you activate an alarm. The app cannot see where you are when no alarm has been triggered.
