July brought a few more updates. The most immediately noticeable is the continued rebranding of the Montr Noodknop to Montr Safety Solutions. Following the growth of the company, a decision was made some time ago to move the emergency button product into a new entity - Montr Safety Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Montr B.V.
Aside from some visual changes, nothing changes for users. The app's login screen has been updated to reflect the new branding.
We have also completed an integration between the Montr emergency button app and the Montr reporting app. This allows an emergency alert to be sent directly from within the reporting app, which is then handled by the emergency button application.
No physical emergency button is required for this - instead, a slider built into the reporting app is used. The full details of how it works are explained in this article. A short video is also available (the alert is triggered at the end):
